Users of Windows OS have reported about the strange update that is dated 2016, Microsoft has released a few hours later after the second release of patches for the service of collecting telemetry data in Windows.
Apparently, the update is called Microsoft – WPD – 2/22/2016 12:00:00 AM – 5.2.5326.4762 is a driver update WPD (Windows Portable Device Windows portable devices), released for Windows 7, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10. The purpose of the update is unknown due to the lack of accompanying information.
Recently users have reported problems arising in the process of installing Microsoft updates. This case also no exception. When you try to install the update a number of users encountered an error 0x800f0217.
According to some users, the update may be designed to provide access to a mobile phone with PC based on Windows 10, but information confirming this assumption there. Microsoft itself has not commented on the release of mysterious updates.
