Microsoft restarts the strategy of Age of Empires in 4K
At E3 (Electronic Entertainment Expo) 2017, which runs from 13 to 15 June in Los Angeles, Microsoft announced plans for the reboot of the classic historical strategy Age of Empires, 20 years after the release of the original.
According to the developers, Age of Empires: Definitive Edition is a revised 4K-version of the original game with new graphics, starting with explanations and hundreds of new sound effects. It will include modes for single player and multiplayer, as well as a classic mode for those who want to plunge in the good old days.
At the moment, Microsoft has opened registration for the closed beta of Age of Empires: Definitive Edition. The release is scheduled towards the end of 2017. Availability yet announced support for Windows 10 and Xbox Live multiplayer.
