Microsoft CEO Joe Belfiore noted on his Twitter page that the further development of Windows Phone is not planned. This means that the manufacturer does not intend to release new mobile devices and the updates for Windows 10 Mobile.
“Of course, we will continue to support the platform… Will fix bugs and release updates for security systems and so on. But the release of new features and devices is not planned”, – said Belfiore.
According to him, a small number of users of the product led to the fact that the company refused to invest in the platform.
