Microsoft is again accused of violating privacy

The U.S. company does not cease “terrorizing” ordinary citizens.

Microsoft and its Windows 10 operating system has been repeatedly accused of violating privacy and confidentiality.

Now, a similar statement was made by the Dutch Ministry of data protection (Data Protection Authority). According to his statement, the software giant does not inform users about what information it collects.

The Bank noted that, when activated default settings for Microsoft Edge gathers quite a large amount of information about the user actions on the Internet. A similar situation is with the use of applications.

As a result, Microsoft covertly retrieves data about the installed on the device programs, and much time is given to one or the other. Simply put, the company is watching our every move.

The regulator believes that Microsoft is required to allow the user to decide what information to send to Microsoft, and what not. In addition, the company accused that it does not consider the privacy settings of a user when it is updated to Windows 10 Creators Update.
