Apple released the iPad Pro as a response to the Surface.
“We have many years of studying and improving our device “2 in 1″, but when we did Surface, it was a skeptical attitude, including from Apple — said Gavin. — And then they went out of our way, and the iPad Pro is a vivid example.”
Gavin added that Microsoft is developing their own devices, without regard for Apple. According to him, if the company is indeed based on achievements of a competitor, they would not have released a hybrid Book and Surface Pro.
It is noted that initially, Apple touted the iPad as a media device for content consumption. With the release of the iPad Pro, which has support for external keyboard and stylus, the company presents the tablet as a full replacement for the laptop.
Apple introduced the iPad Pro at WWDC 2017 exhibition in early June in San Jose (CA). The new tablet has a screen with a diagonal of 10.5 inches, and a processor A10X. Prices for the device range from 47 to 68 thousand rubles.
