The international football Federation (FIFA) announced the names of candidates for the annual awards.
For the title of player of the year by FIFA expect Cristiano Ronaldo (real Madrid and Portugal), Lionel Messi (Barcelona and Argentina) and Neymar (Barcelona/PSG and Brazil).
A favorite for the award is considered Ronaldo – the Portuguese in 2017 helped real Madrid to win the Champions League, became the champion of Spain and won the UEFA super Cup, and also won the scoring race in the Champions League.
For the title of coach of the year by FIFA in absentia struggle will lead Zinedine Zidane (real Madrid), Massimiliano Allegri (Juventus) and Antonio Conte (“Chelsea”). Zidane in 2017 has led Real Madrid to victory in the Champions League and Spanish Cup, making it the undisputed contender for the award.
Among goalkeepers FIFA has allocated Gianluigi Buffon (Juventus and Italy), Keilor Navas (real Madrid and national team of Costa Rica) and Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich and Germany national team).
The awards ceremony by FIFA on October 23 in London.
