The British newspaper The Guardian has named the top 100 players of 2017.
The hundred best players of the year “The Guardian” formed on the basis of the opinions of 169 experts from 63 countries.
The fourth time (2012, 2013, 2015, 2017), the rating is topped by the forward of “Barcelona” and the Argentina national team Lionel Messi.
For the five-time winner of the “Golden ball” this year has been barren in terms of trophies, but Messi continues to demonstrate the highest
level of football. In 2017 Messi in all competitions have scored 53 goals and handed out three dozen assists.
In the vote, Messi scored 42 points more than twice the best football player of the year by The Guardian Cristiano Ronaldo, who took the award in 2014 and 2016.
