Mercedes will prepare the most powerful hatchback in the world

Work on the latter are already in full swing.

Mercedes-AMG A 45 new generation will be the fastest “charged” hatchback in the world. The engine power will reach 394 HP

Mercedes-AMG A 45 the current generation of once was the most powerful hatchback in the car market. It is equipped with four-cylinder 2.0 liter turbo engine capacity of 376 HP (once the engine power was a little less 355 “horses). But then, came the Audi RS 3, which is the power of the engine makes 394 HP, and A 45 has lost its “title”.

Now, Mercedes-AMG plans to make A new 45 again, the most powerful hatchback. Tobias Moers, head of Mercedes-AMG, says that the power of the engine of the hatchback will exceed 400 “horses”.

Work on this innovation already underway. According to some, its official premiere is scheduled for March 2018, and dealers it will appear in the second half of next year. But it’s still not officially confirmed.

Apparently, the new A 45 looks to be noticeably different from the current-generation models. This hatchback will get even more aggressive appearance than it is now. I think that in the cabin too, there will be serious changes with the addition of new technologies and security systems.

The segment of “charged” hatchbacks now already saturated. About the Mercedes-AMG A 45 and the Audi RS 3 we have already spoken. But there are also Honda Civic Type R (316 HP), Ford Focus RS (345 HP), and soon there will be Volkswagen Golf R400 (394 HP).
