This was told by chief engineer Frank Schumacher at the presentation of a pickup truck in Australia.
At the start of sales my truck was only available with a 4-cylinder Nissan engines, later X-Class received German V6, now, apparently, we can expect replenishment in the face of the V8. According to the engineer, such necessity is dictated solely by the market.
Note that in this case we are not talking about the motor from a car with the AMG label, and its derated version. However, official confirmation of this information yet.
We will remind, at the moment the most powerful engine in the engine range of the Mercedes-Benz X-Class develops 258 HP and 550 Nm of torque.
