How to improve memory and prevent dementia with the help of medicinal herbs

Dementia is a condition in which significantly deteriorate a person’s mental capacities and it becomes difficult to independently lead a fulfilling life. In Alzheimer’s disease plays an important role in the damage of brain structures aggressive free radicals while rosemary contains antioxidants (especially rosmarinic acid) – substances that neutralize free radicals.

Salvia officinalis. To improve memory is to drink infusion of the leaves (1st.l. raw materials pour 400 ml of boiling water, let stand 1 hour) on a half-glass 3 times a day before meals. Sage inhibits the action of enzymes that break down acetylcholine, that is helps to preserve it. Caution: sage contains a lot of thujone – a substance that in high doses can cause convulsions.
