Customers of the British brand asked the company to develop a “green” model.

This supercar is equipped with a 675-horsepower 3.8-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, capable of accelerating from standstill to 100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and its top speed is 300 km per hour.
McLaren has extensive experience working on electric technology. So, in 2013, the British developed a hybrid hypercar P1. In addition, McLaren supplies electrical components for cars racing series Formula E.
Earlier it was reported that the company McLaren in 2017, will release the most extreme hypercar in its history, which will be allowed to drive on public roads. At the moment the project is known under the internal designation “P15”. British engineers claim it to be the fastest on the race track McLaren with the exception of track will the P1 GTR.
