A young and talented screenwriter Max Landis, on account of which elegant adaptation of the “Holistic detective Agency Dirk gently” and the script to the super-but-not-heroic Thriller “Chronicle”, love not only to invent something, but to talk about it. And once he told about his ideas regarding a potential reboot of the old “Gremlins”. And he did this in conversation by Joe Dante, the Creator of these wonderful monstrat.
Recently there is talk of a remake or sequel of the original novels “Gremlins”. Chris Kalambus talking about a reboot in 2015, but — good or bad — the project seems stalled. But I heard rumors that the writers are going to kill Gizmo! Even I don’t know if I could forgive or not…
Anyway, it turns out that Landis was also thoughts on this subject, and he very emotionally and fervently shared them with Dante. In the end, MagwaY overeat after ten PM, mutate into Gremlins, and then the story changes genre on a mixture of mocumentary and disaster movie. And in the third act the camera is the Gremlins! Throwing it to each other, these fun and creepy imps will chase the main characters, secretly filming a movie! According to max, there must be a lot of CGI effects, lots of unusual angles and a great many Gremlins…
In the finale of his story, Max said that his Manager sent his ideas to bosses Warner Bros., however, they replied that at the moment not planned a film about the Gremlins. Such cases.
