The airline also demanded to cancel the contract of airline and airport “Lviv”.
Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian announced that the Ministry and Ryanair received a number of lawsuits from the company Ukraine International airlines (UIA), controlled by businessman Igor Kolomoisky.
The Minister said on his Facebook page.
“Yesterday received a number of lawsuits MAU, which are the following: 1. To cancel the contract Ryanair from Lviv airport. 2. To prohibit the Ministry to provide support to Ryanair in Ukraine”, – wrote Omelian.
“Well, the icing on the cake, due to the possible arrival of Ryanair in Ukraine, UIA was forced to lower prices and suffered losses. Therefore, “national” airline to request the court to the Ministry of infrastructure compensated tens of million of “losses”, – said the Minister.
According to the Omelyan, UIA will use all means to block the arrival of lowcost in the state and to allow Ukrainians to fly ten times cheaper to Europe and the world, to increase the flow of tourists in Ukraine significantly.
