The publication of the joint investigation team (JIT) of interceptions of telephone conversations, from which it follows that Russia controlled the invasion of the territory of Ukraine in 2014, requires verification. As reported by RIA “Novosti”, commenting on the publication, Zakharova said that JIT does fit the facts to fit pre-known solution. “The verdict, the verdict has already been rendered immediately, and everything else — fit materials that would have testified in favor of the chosen tactics of the prosecution,” — said Zakharov.
On the issue of The Insider, if she claims that the publication of the JIT is a fake, Zakharova said, “I would argue that there has been a lot of fakes on this subject, and it is necessary to recheck all the experts.”
JIT on the basis of published material claims that Russia controlled the process of invasion into the territory of Ukraine both in a military sense (sending military and weapons through the FSB and GRU) and political (directing from Moscow of the leaders of the DNI, LC).
