Map ATO: the situation in the Donbass escalated

For the past day situation in the area of counter-terrorism operations has intensified.

As the representative of the Ministry of defense on ATO Andrei Lysenko, the militants shelled positions of Ukrainian military with rocket, tube artillery, mortars of various types, anti-tank missile systems and armored vehicles. Under fire of jet systems of volley fire also hit the frontline settlements.

On Lugansk the direction was restless in the area of Popasnaya, Luhansk, Nizhneteploye, Maori and Crimea.

In Donetsk direction the enemy was heavily shelling Ukrainian units near Water and Talakovki of infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers and machine guns. Ukrainian soldiers opened fire in response.

Near Avdeevka and Experienced fighters used Grad. While under enemy fire partially hit towns.
