Mankind is threatened by asteroid bombardment

Scientists said the possible collision of Earth with asteroids.

Already in 2022, 2025, 2032 and 2039 years Earth will be at increased risk of collision with a very massive celestial bodies.

To this conclusion came experts of the Astronomical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.

In particular, scientists point to the danger of fragments of comet Encke, today they are also known to astronomers as Tauride.

Two meteor shower, which gave itself felt in the nineteenth century, observed each fall. Their activity experts call relatively small – about 7 meteors per hour.

First year scholars are closely monitored and, based on the data of the last decade, they managed to discover new, previously unknown stream of debris. Their orbit, they argue, intersects the earth.

The common thread researchers identify two of the asteroid, named 2005 and 2015 UR TX24. Their size is about 200-300 meters. Latest record close to the Ground blocks installed in 2015.

In addition to the threat of approaching asteroids, the researchers emphasize that the comet Encke constantly destroyed, it generates new streams of space debris. Since its opening in the early nineteenth century ENKA lost about 85% of its mass.

For the Earth this means that the probability of occurrence in the sky new asteroid bodies, the fall of which threatens the planet is in serious trouble increases. As noted by the experts in astronomical terms is increasing at lightning speed.
