By Paul Manafort allegedly collaborated with the Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska not only for Ukraine but also for Georgia and Montenegro.
The former head of the election headquarters of Donald trump’s spin doctor by Paul Manafort worked as a political consultant to the Russian side longer than said before – about 10 years – but was associated with Oleg Deripaska, owner of Basic element, President of the company RUSAL.
This writes The Wall Street Journal, pointing out that the cooperation with Deripaska Monforton refers to the last not only in Ukraine but also in Georgia and Montenegro.
Previously in the us Congress investigating Russia’s attempts to influence the U.S. presidential election, refused to provide Oleg Deripaska immunity in exchange for his testimony. He denies the existence of financial ties with Manufactum. He sued the Associated Press defamation is a news Agency made such a statement. As stated in the complaint, Mr. Deripaska many years ago “broke it off” with Paul Manafort.
In the article the Wall Street Journal argues that Manafort started to work on the Russian side in 2004. This lasted until 2015, and in the following year he headed the campaign headquarters of Donald trump. In August 2016, Manafort left of this post.
One of the reasons for his resignation is what he was from 2007 to 2012, he was able to illegally obtain ex-President of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych and his Party of regions over 12 million dollars.
