Perhaps the mass extinction of animals on planet Earth does not seem to us city dwellers, divorced from nature, immediate and close threat.
But environmentalists is precisely known about the huge losses in the natural world, and how the mammals are currently threatened with extinction on our planet.
Over the past 40 years Earth has lost half of its wildlife — and soon we can say goodbye to another 3265 species of mammals.
Here mammals, which may disappear from the face of the Earth in 2018.
In Europe — the snow leopard
In North America — the sea otter
In Central America spider monkey
In South America – Golden lion marmoset
In Africa a ring-tailed lemur
In Asia, the Asian elephant
In South-East Asia and Australia – the dwarf elephant
The number of species under threat of extinction, differs significantly around the world
In Indonesia, the largest number of mammals under threat of extinction — 188.
Meanwhile, in Europe, least of all mammals, faced with such a threat.
Fran Whittaker-wood, chief research officer of the organization, The Eco Experts said:
“Although the study had identified specific areas in which most mammals are endangered, we want to emphasize that the potential loss of these animals is a global problem requiring a global solution.
We are all in some measure responsible for the negative influence that we exerted on the environment, and the destruction of many natural habitats of these animals. To help protect these wonderful creatures and to ensure their survival, we need to work together and live without disturbing the ecological balance of the planet.
People are often unable to completely abandon eating meat, but even small changes in your diet and replace some of the dishes on your menu vegan foods can have an extremely positive impact on the environment.
Thousands of mammals are injured or die because we throw the garbage somewhere horrible, pollute nature. Therefore, reuse and recycling – a problem of exceptional importance”.
