The President of France Emmanuel macron after a meeting with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin summed up the results of the negotiations. According to him, it was “a direct, Frank exchange of views”.

The French President stressed that without an open and sincere dialogue progress with the Ukrainian and Syrian issues will not.
“I have told you all that I think President Putin. We share a common contradiction. We see how to build joint action. If we don’t have an open, sincere dialogue, we will not have any progress on the Ukrainian issue nor on the Syrian issue,” wrote macron.
