The French President spoke about political change within the Union.
The President of France Emmanuel macron prepared proposals of official Paris on the further development of the European Union. He was going to announce after the elections to the German Bundestag (Parliament) scheduled for September 24, 2017.
About macron said Tuesday, August 29, at the Elysee Palace at the traditional annual meeting with the ambassadors of France.
According to the President of France, we are not talking about the revision of the EU treaties, which set out the constitutional basis of the European Union.
Paris is working on a “specific” initiatives around ten thematic areas to develop in Europe a new “ambition” and make the European community once again attractive in the eyes of its inhabitants, the politician said.
“First of all, the new measures will be aimed at strengthening the economic and monetary Union, harmonization of social and fiscal policies in the member States of the EU, the development of joint defence strategy, the overall policy towards refugees and approaches to climate change and energy,” said macron.
