The President of France Emmanuel macron during a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani expressed the readiness of European countries to continue the implementation of the agreement on the nuclear issue between Tehran and the “six” of international mediators.
“The President reiterated that the US position will not lead to the abolition of the agreement on the Iranian atom, and that France, its European partners and with all parties will continue to fulfil its obligations”, – stated in the message of the Elysee Palace, issued at the end of the conversation.
Macron also announced that the foreign Minister of France Jean-Yves Le Drian in the coming weeks will visit Iran to discuss nuclear issue with Iranian foreign Minister Javad Zarif.
