Lviv airport passenger traffic increased by 52.8%

On international flights transported 82% of passengers.

In the first half of the Lviv international airport passenger traffic increased by 52.8% to 431,6 thousand passengers.

This is evidenced by the operational data of the airport.

So, for domestic flights, was transported to 78.6 thousand passengers (18%), and the international 353,0 thousand passengers (82%).

The number of flights performed in the 1st half of 2017 s/Lviv, 225 made 5 flights, 4 of them 109 116 international and 1 domestic flight.

The flight frequency on the existing destinations was increased by 26 flights per week in comparison with the year 2016 and it is expected that the implementation of the new flights this year it will increase another 27 flights per week.

In 2016 compared to 2015 the international airport Lviv named after Danylo Galician (Lviv), according to operational data, passenger traffic increased by 29.4% to 738 thousand passengers.
