Lutsenko promised a speedy conclusion to the investigation of the shootings on the Maidan

The investigation of the shootings on the Maidan can be completed before the end of the year.

This opinion was expressed by the Prosecutor General Yury Lutsenko in interview to the Radio Liberty project “Now”.

“A team of prosecutors and investigators report to me about readiness in the fourth quarter of this year to finish the investigation of the shootings on the Maidan. They are charged with abuse of power, unlawful use of a weapon, homicide and causing bodily harm Maidan activists. Former fighters of special division “Berkut” do not admit guilt on any of the items.
