Shooting the series “castle Rock” explanation from the pile of the works of Stephen king officially kicked off, and we already have the first photos from the event!
Modest news site of the town called orange, in Massachusetts, published the news that their quiet cozy streets has undergone a small transformation, in order to fulfill the role of a legendary castle Rock, erected by the imagination of the King of terrors in Maine. The ground has been seen actress Melanie lynskey, whom you may remember another mini-series “rose Red Mansion” (guess who wrote the script?). The series will be an anthology, so every season will unfold its own story with its characters. Since the place of action remain the same city, then these stories, as well as actors will be interesting to overlap and intersect with each other. According to the creators of the show, “castle Rock” will talk about the characters and themes from different stories by Stephen king pertaining to this city.
Castes of the draft is a matter of respect. In may it was revealed the first character of the series, and his role is played by Andre Holland (“American horror story: Roanoke”). Then it became known that the star of “Carrie” and “evil dead” going to Maine, joining the cast of the show. Oh, and as icing on the cake — a new Pennywise also going to castle Rock. Agree, sounds great!
Shooting of the first season is scheduled to be completed by January 2018. Premiere date is not yet known.
