Local budgets for the first four months of this year rose by 14.5 billion – this was due to decentralization.
The Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman wrote on his page in Facebook.
“Decentralization is valid for the first four months of 2017 local budgets increased by 14.5 billion UAH”, – he said that compared to last year, the increase was almost 35%.
The Premier added that the pace of income growth in the United territorial communities can be even higher.
“Experts note that the growth rate of income in the combined communities is even higher. What is now on the ground the resources to address pressing local problems– a good trend. Of course, it takes time to clean up all the problems that have accumulated over many years of total neglect of local government. But in many towns and villages the changes are already occurring and will occur every year more and more,” he wrote, Groisman.
