The Minister of foreign Affairs of Lithuania Linas Linkevičius responded to the accusations of the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko that the country could prepare the armed provocateurs.
Earlier, Lukashenko announced the arrest of militants. According to him, one of the camps was in Bobruisk and Osipovichi. The rest camps in Ukraine. The money allegedly went through Poland and Lithuania.
“I would like the President to hear informed statements,” said Linkevičius, calling Lukashenka’s words “sucked from the finger fables”.
The Minister also urged the Belarusian authorities to stop the artificial search of enemies abroad and within the country. According to him, Lithuania is watching the events in Belarus arrests.
“I hope that we get back to the situation when Belarus was political prisoners”, – he concluded.
