Linda Hamilton will be back in the new “terminator”!

Yes, Sarah Connor is back, they all come back!

So, James Cameron directs the entire project as producer, and Tim Miller, the Director of “Deadpool”, officially appointed to the post of Director. And of course, Arnold Schwarzenegger in too.

And now one more, truly epic comeback — actress Linda Hamilton will once again embody the character Sarah Connor from the original novels. Frankly, I personally was really hoping for it, because Hamilton was very steep in the first two films, and it lacked in the subsequent parts. In addition, a long time ago there were rumors about the fact that, well, if Cameron went back to the “Terminator”, one of his conditions was the presence of Hamilton in the cast.

At a recent event dedicated to the project of the film, James Cameron stated the following:

She was a real star of emancipation and action, therefore her return will be an important message. Now there are 50 – and 60-year-old boys who wet the bad guys, but there is no similar example among women.

Well, I think Cameron is right. The heroine of Linda Hamilton in the movie, follows a path similar to the legendary Ripley from “Alien”: from the victim in the first “terminator” to the warrior in the sequel. She then only briefly, in the form of voice, appears in the film “Terminator: Yes come Savior”, but this, of course, was not enough.

However, says Cameron, the new and youthful faces in a new trilogy will appear:

We start searching girls about 18 years, which will be the new Central character of the story. We drop the time. We will have characters from the future and the present. Mostly will be new characters, but the characters of Arnold and Linda to combine it all.

It is unfortunate that old people are no longer will play a key role in the plot, but it is clear: we must move on. Let’s hope casting will be good. Anyway, in the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger, filming will start in 2018.
