Lincoln has announced the launch of a new SUV

Under the hood novelties will install a twin-turbo 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 engine.

Lincoln issued a teaser Navigator SUV new generation of its world premiere at the upcoming new York auto show. Judging by the picture, the model will be largely similar to the precursor — the Navigator Concept.

Conceptual version novelties were presented in 2016 in new York. Its distinctive features have become a huge door type “gull wing” (one on each side) and no b-pillar, as well as chair with the regulations in 30 directions. In addition, the concept was equipped with a fully digital instrument panel, a large touchscreen of multimedia and a wardrobe in the trunk.

On the published teaser, you may notice that the serial will be continued with a similar shape radiator grille and the similar configuration of the front optics with dual led strips running lights.

In addition, the shown machine is highlighted by the emblem of the brand. Would there be lighting on commercial vehicles or is it just a feature teaser — still a mystery.

The basis for a new Navigator, presumably, was the platform of Ford F-150. This, coupled with aluminum body, can significantly reduce the weight of an SUV. The base engine will remain a 3.5-liter V6 with two turbines, however, its capacity will increase from 380 horsepower to more than 400 forces. Probably, the SUV will appear ten step “automatic”.
