Less for utility services in Russia are paid by the people of Dagestan and Ingushetia

Least of all for housing and communal services in Russia are paid by the people of Dagestan and Ingushetia. There the share of expenditures for housing and communal services in 2018 amounted to only 5% of all average family spending regions.

The average Russian family spends on housing and communal services of 9.6% of earnings, that is, 4385 roubles.

Also in the top ten regions with the lowest proportion of expenses on HCS came in Khakassia (7,1% 2560 rubles), Tatarstan (7,1% 3658 rubles), Chechnya (7.2% or RUB 3705), Zabaykalsky Krai (of 7.3%, or RUB 2982), Sevastopol (7,5% or 3106 RUB), Novosibirsk oblast (7.6% or RUB 2658), Altai Republic (7.7% or RUB 2374) and Bashkortostan (7.8% or 3430 rubles.).

Incidentally, in the Altai Republic less spending on utility services in absolute terms among all 85 regions of the Russian Federation – 2374 rubles a month.

The ten regions with the largest expenditure on housing and communal services except for the Kamchatka territory (15% or more 9.7 thousand rubles. per month) also includes the Magadan area (14% or RUB 8105), Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug (13,5% or RUB 8098), Komi Republic (13%, or RUB 5280), Ryazan oblast (12,8% or RUB 3361), Novgorod oblast (12,8% or 3991 rubles), Leningrad oblast (12,8% or RUB 5253), Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (12,6% or 6815 RUB), Stavropol Krai (12.5% or 4621 RUB) and Smolensk oblast (12,3% or 3899 RUB.).

In Crimea, the average family spends on housing and utilities 10% of their monthly income, that is, 3396 rubles. The Peninsula occupies the 42nd place in the ranking on payment ZHKU.

Moscow oblast is located on the 37th place (9.7% of income or 5725 rubles).

But Moscow is far ahead of the field for these cost 13, 8% or 6479 rubles a month.

Experts note that the positions of the regions in this ranking are explained by the influence of various factors.

First, it is the level of tariffs for housing and communal services, which can be attributed to various, including natural and geographical reasons. Also important is the income level of residents. In addition, the share of expenditures for housing and communal services in the structure of total costs affects the share of the population living in apartments, which implies a more active use of the services of utilities, etc.
