The fire in the South of Beijing, 19 people died and another eight were injured, reports Xinhua.
It is noted that a fire broke out at about 18.00 on 18 November in the village of Xinjiang in the Daxing district in the South of the Chinese capital.
At the emergency left 34 fire trucks. Rescuers managed to extinguish the flames three hours later.
According to China Central television, to the place of incident there arrived the mayor of Beijing Cai Qi, which is instructed to establish a working group to investigate the causes of the accident.
Where the fire occurred, was not specified, however, as the channel reports, the mayor gave instructions to close an industrial property located in villages and towns, and to eliminate all illegal business.
The alleged perpetrators were detained.
