Laptop Pi-Top can be assembled from modules

The updated laptop Pi-Top for enthusiastic geeks who are interested in a very unusual device. In this case, we are dealing with modular laptop, which can be assembled from different components, like the system unit, keyboard and even have it removable.

The project Pi-Top has existed since 2014, and his new version based on the Raspberry Pi platform 3 and offers a Full HD screen with a diagonal of 14 inches. Actually, this is the only modern component of a mobile PC, because the rest is ARM-based processors Broadcom BCM2837 and 2 GB of RAM, whereas the amount of ROM and not specified.

By default, the Pi-Top is 320 USD, but it can be bought for 285 dollars, however, in this case inside will be gone of the Raspberry Pi Board 3, and it will have to buy separately. Includes network card, microSD slot, couple of ports microUSB and also Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi 802.11 n, and under the sliding keyboard sections for additional modules, so the Pi-Top lends itself perfectly to customization. The cost and capabilities of these modules in the press release are not listed.
