Language quotas: Council fined 10 radio stations

10 radio stations paid half a million hryvnias of penalties.

The national Council on television and radio broadcasting fined 10 radio stations for violation of the language law in excess of 579 thousand UAH.

This was reported by a member of the National Council of Ukraine on television and radio Sergey Kostinsky.

“Three waves of monitoring conducted, we are preparing the next. Also coming soon will be published the monitoring results by regions, which were committed by members of the National Council”, – he wrote in Facebook.

Kostinsky has provided an infographic with the dynamic enforcement of quotas on Ukrainian music 14 national radio stations.
