Lamborghini Aventador will soon get a hybrid version with a V12 engine. In an interview at the Festival of speed at Goodwood, said CEO Stefano.
Domenicali announced that the Aventador replacement will keep the V12 engine, which will attach the electric component to create a hybrid device. He further recalled that the decision was made, and thus, it will allow Lamborghini to stand out, offering a large internal combustion engine with hybrid amplification.
In addition, Huracan and Urus will also receive a hybrid powertrain. Model Huracan in the long term will retain a V10 engine, but will also work with the motor. At the same time, the Urus crossover will initially be electrified, and the hybrid version of the Super SUV will appear at the end of the decade.
Hybrid modification of the Lamborghini Urus will appear in 2020, and will probably get powertrain from the Porsche Panamera Turbo S E-Hybrid. Thus, under the hood you will see the four-liter V8 twin-turbo engine, paired with electric motor, with total capacity of up to 670 horsepower.
