Kyivkhlib predicts a rise in the price of bread to 20% by 2020

Producer of bread and bakery products Kyivkhlib (Kiev) has posted a rise in product prices by 20% in the next 2-3 years.

This was stated by the Chairman of the Board of Kyivkhlib Vladimir Succession.

“For a certain period, the price will increase up to 20%. I think it’s 2-3 years”, – he said.

According to the head of the Board, the last price revision in Kyivkhlib was about two months ago, and they then increased by 5%.

The series noted that the average profitability of the company is now in the range of 7-8%.

According to the representative of the industry, the market a large number of enterprises working on simplified system of taxation, in terms of what is hard to compete. He added that the cost structure of production is changing is irrelevant; takes up 50% of the flour.
