Kyiv commented on the possibility of deployment of Russian air defense on the border with Ukraine

The military track of this situation and intend to take appropriate action

Ukraine is monitoring the initiative of the President of Russian Federation Vladimir Putin on the use of air defense systems on the borders of Belarus with the EU and Ukraine.

This was stated by the Deputy head of Department on public relations of the Armed forces of Ukraine Jozef Veskovic.

So, referring to the words of the chief of the General staff of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko, he said that the military tracked this situation and intend to take appropriate action.

He noted that the Armed Forces of Ukraine did not give a reason Russia for use of air defense at the border.

“Our air forces operate exclusively within the space of Ukraine”, — he stressed.

We will remind, yesterday the President of Russia Vladimir Putin submitted to the State Duma a draft law that will allow Russian Armed forces to use air defence troops at the border of Belarus and Ukraine.
