Jumper from Nikolaev Ilya Kvasha won the gold in the pole meter springboard in the championship of Europe in Kiev.
In qualifying, the 29-year-old Kvasha took the second place – Ukrainian is not very clean fulfilled the third and fourth jump, which affected the total amount of his points.
In the final, Ilya such misfires did not allow himself the master of the springboard brilliantly coped with all the jumping and long before the end of the competition took intrigue in struggle for gold.
Another Ukrainian jumper Oleg Kolodiy stopped in a step from a prize-winning places. From the third placed Frenchman Matthew Ross Kolodiy separated by more than 20 points.

Ilya Kvasha became the ninefold champion of Europe. On meter springboard Ukrainian won in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2016.
