Kuchma has told about the plans of Putin to Donbass

“In the former Soviet Union, there is another frozen conflict.”

Russia in the Donbass creates a frozen conflict, so in the East of Ukraine should be a peacekeeping force.

This was stated by the representative of the Ukrainian side in the Tripartite contact group to resolve the conflict in the Donbas, second Ukrainian President Leonid Kuchma, reports “5 channel”.

“In the former Soviet Union, there is another frozen conflict. We see that Russia has no desire to disappear. At least we the experience of other conflict can say,” – said Kuchma.

According to him, is to compare the Donbass Transnistria – is incorrect.

“But it is not Transnistria – a frozen conflict. Transnistria has no border with the Russian Federation, but here (in the Donbas. – Ed.) border is over 400 km away. This is such a Ukraine will be a headache!” – said the representative of Ukraine in the Tripartite contact group.

He noted that it was necessary to introduce peacekeeping forces in the Donbass.

“The working group (for the border. – Ed.) of course, we need to discuss this issue, but mechanisms how to pass this milestone, no. We can not put there by their guards, so I’m talking about peacekeeping force to at least the OSCE allowed there,” – concluded Kuchma.
