Kubiv presented a forecast of economic development of Ukraine in 2017.
The first Vice Prime Minister, Minister of economic development and trade Stepan Kubiv expects growth of gross domestic product in 2017 at 2%.
He declared it in interview to TV program “Persha spalte”.
“Everyone said that would be a big minus. I am sure there will be plus up to 2% GDP growth,” – said Kubiv.
However, he noted that there is now a macrostabilization of the economy.
“We’re talking about next year, with GDP growth of 3%. On 2019 at 3.6%. On 2020 – we’re talking 4%. We are talking about the continuation of macro-stabilization”, – said the Minister.
According to him, this stabilization will open up the market for innovation, investment and upgrading, which is defined as the priority of economic policy of the country.
