The mayor of Kiev said that from childhood dreams of becoming a driver.
In Kiev, a party of 18 MAZ buses that will be running on five routes. This was stated by the mayor of Kiev Vitaly Klitschko, the press service of Kyiv city state administration (KCSA).
Klitschko personally visited the new buses and drove through the territory of the fleet behind the wheel of one of them.
“Once in kindergarten I wanted to be a bus driver. Drive this new bus, I can say that it is easy to control, comfortable. This is the highest standard,” he said.
It is noted that all Metropolitan government is purchasing 100 new buses MAZ, and in the near future it is expected the arrival of two vehicles. According to Klitschko, thanks to new buses in the capital have already replaced rolling stock on the four routes and plan to increase the number of vehicles on five routes. The cost of 100 new buses amounted to almost UAH 529 million.
As previously reported, Klitschko said that public transport in Kiev can economically displace bus.
