Klitschko called the timing of the opening of new metro stations

The budget will amount to 5 billion 993 million UAH.

New metro station “Mostyska” and “Truth” in the neighborhood of the Husbandman will be opened in December 2021, announced the mayor of Kiev, Vitali Klitschko, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during the inspection of construction works.

“In December 2021, two stations will be opened,” said the mayor.

Answering the question of the President about the fate of the subway in left Bank neighborhood residential, Klitschko said that “without the construction of a bridge of any underground construction of speech can not be.”

“Subway construction is a question of 4-5 years if funding is available,” said the mayor.

According to him, currently work is underway on the construction of the bridge, and in the summer or closer to fall all the rusty frames on the bridge will be dismantled.

“Visually, everything in the summer Kiev will notice that the work is going. My goal is over the next two years to make autosabina between the left and right Bank”, – said Klitschko.

As reported, in November last year, the Kiev metro has concluded the contract on performance of construction works on the extension of Syretsko-Pecherska branch of the metro with JSC “Kievmetrostroy”, which became the winner of the tender for ProZorro. “In the first phase of works on a plot of almost 4 km involves the construction of two stations – “Mostyska” and “Truth” – and the branches in the direction of the station “Grower” for the further continuation line”, – reported the press service of the Kiev metro.

According to the document, work will continue until 2021, with a budget of 5 billion 993 million UAH.

In this project, for the first time in Kyiv plan to use the technology of vertical tunnels. The station “Mostyska” will be built as a station deep Foundation, and “the Truth” and later stipulated to build in an open way as shallow.

As reported by the President of one of the construction managers, in connection with the extension of Sireco-Pecherska line will also require the construction of a second depot.
