To pay for Parking or not — a matter of conscience of the driver.
In the capital started a “Parking revolution”. The valets since yesterday I have no more right to take cash from drivers, and on weekends, now you can leave your car for free everywhere. The journalists investigated how people reacted to the innovations.
From August 10 in the capital’s Parking had a new rule: anyone cash in hands not to give, and in the case of extortion in the KSCA even suggest to call the police. Pay drivers can now independently by selecting one of several ways: by using the Parking meters, via mobile, by purchasing the card or pass (see infographic). All the necessary is sold in the newsstands of “Soyuzpechat”, which can be found on the website of “Kyivtransparkservis”.
There is also a list of Parking lots equipped with Parking machines — most of them, of course, in the Central regions. The Parking attendants now prefer to call inspectors, while most platforms will not disappear. But now they are only duty is to inform the drivers about the need to pay.
We made sure to comply with the new requirements not setde. In Tolstoy street and the adjoining St. Vladimir’s two Parking lots, “Kyivtransparkservis”. Stop, but no one looking there or there is not. WAIT FOR THE LAW. In KSCA confirm that the issue is now, to pay for Parking or not — purely on the conscience of the driver. But here waiting for a new law that will allow local authorities to fine drivers-hares, and even to evacuate their cars. According to people’s Deputy and Advisor to the mayor Dmitry Belotserkovets, this bill is already supported in the first reading, and may be adopted in October.
We will remind, according to the document, for unpaid Parking offer fine 20-fold amount of the cost of one hour of service (e.g., first zone in the centre, this amount of 200 UAH, on the outskirts — UAH 100). Until the end of the year promise to develop a uniform system of administration all available payment methods.
