The Network had released a video with killer whales to disperse swimmers near the canadian coast. A group of whales swam close to the shore and frightened the local swimmers. Video of the incident was published in the social network Instagram.
The incident occurred in early July in the area of the marine reserve Westcliff.
Orcas were sent to two men who were swimming near the shore. Seeing whales, tourists rushed to the beach.
Expert in cetaceans lance Barrett-Lennard commented that orcas with a 99% probability wouldn’t lash out at the swimmers.
