Law enforcement officers detained in the capital, a gang of fraudsters who cheated Kyiv drivers.
The staff of the Vasilkovsky city Department of Kyiv-Svyatoshinsky local Prosecutor’s office jointly with the National police detained four people who allegedly provoked the accident and extorted from drivers money. Reports a press about it-service of Prosecutor’s office of Kiev region.
“It is established that the attackers had monitored drivers who were alone in the car, and then simulating road transportnyh adventure, forced the drivers to stop. Then the perps demanded victims pay them money in compensation for the alleged damaged car due to accident”, – stated in the message.
The Prosecutor also said that in this way the crooks to “earn” a day of 2 thousand dollars. It is noted that all the suspects were detained in order St. 208 criminal procedure code of Ukraine. Among them there are citizens of the Russian Federation.
“On the procedural management of Prosecutor’s office of men it is reported about suspicion in Commission of a criminal offense under part 2 St. 190 (fraud committed by a group of persons) criminal code of Ukraine. In addition, the Prosecutor’s office prepared the petition for the detention of suspects”, – told in Prosecutor’s office.
