Metro police found Kiev two plastic bags with poppy heads.
The incident occurred in the lobby of the metro station “Teremki”: employees of the Metropolitan police noticed a suspicious man and invited the police. During the personal search of the 36-year-old from Kiev seized about 500 poppy heads, which he was carrying in the bag.
The Kiev police explained that they found packets of dope when I was visiting my friend in Cherkasy region. The detainee claims that he kept the discovery for their own use and not for sale.
Investigation division of the police Department in the metro initiated criminal proceedings under part 1 of article 309 (Illegal production, production, acquisition, storage, transportation or shipment of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogs without sales objective) the Criminal code of Ukraine. Material evidence is withdrawn and directed on examination.
