In Kiev the ceremony of rewarding of the best teachers at the all-Ukrainian stage of competition Global Teacher Prize of Ukraine in 2017, which is called the Nobel prize for educators.
The winner was 71-year-old Paul Pshenichka, teacher of physics and astronomy in the Chernivtsi Lyceum №1. He has already said he will spend the prize in the amount of 100 thousand UAH on the own project “quasar” (scientific society for gifted students), and communal gatherings with friends.
Also in Chernivtsi the teacher will represent Ukraine at the international stage of the competition in Dubai in 2018, where he will call the name of the best teacher in the world.
Last year, recall, an English teacher from Kropiwnicki Anna Dudich entered the top-50 best teachers in the world, going into the semi-finals of the international competition Global Teacher Prize.
