Police detained the suspect

Osokorki Darnytskyi district of Kiev during an argument the man was attacked with an ax at a neighbor.

Militiamen detained the malefactor. The victim was hospitalized.

As told law enforcement officers on duty Darnytsa police Department received a report that in the private sector, near one of houses in the blood lies the man.

Arrived at the scene, the patrol, investigative team and the ambulance. The victim was a 50-year local resident. He’s been hospitalized.

According to preliminary data, a conflict between neighbours arose during drinking of alcoholic drinks. One of the men grabbed an ax and hit another on the head. Leaving the victim, the attacker fled.

Police detained the suspect. He was a 49-year-old previously convicted resident of Kiev. He fully admitted his guilt.

The investigative Department of the Kiev Department of the police of Kiev opened criminal proceedings under part 2 of article 15, part 1 of article 115 (attempt at murder) the Criminal code of Ukraine.

Pre-judicial investigation.

As previously reported, in the Kirovohrad region a man was axed to death a woman.
