Kia will release a new crossover based on CEE’d
As reported by our Western colleagues, citing its own sources within the company Kia, the South Korean carmaker plans to bring to market a new crossover developed on the platform of the model CEE’d. According to preliminary data, the novelty will receive the name XCeed – this name was registered in patent authorities of Europe.
Cross-version CEE’d will be the fourth modification of this model, along with the 3 – and 5-door hatchbacks and 5-door station wagon.
Notable is the fact that the font of the logo of the new XCeed is very different from the existing trademark CEE’d. In the name of the new logo is missing an apostrophe, while the hatchback and wagon CEE’d it is. Details on the trademark of the new crossover on the basis of “siida” yet.
Earlier, officials from Kia has announced plans to expand its share of the European car market in the SUV segment.
