According to Royal expert Victoria Arbiter, Kate also chose to appear without tights, which in itself is a violation “of the strict requirements of the Queen”. In the opinion of the Queen members of the Royal family should not appear in public without tights.
Unlike Meghan Markle, who has repeatedly been seen at official events with bare legs, Kate Middleton Queen Elizabeth puts forward more rigid requirements because she is the wife of the future king.
“To Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle put forward different requirements. Kate should only wear skirts of a certain length. Queen Kate regularly makes comments if she doesn’t like the style of her clothes, the length of a hemline or colour of tights”.
