Karl urban makes its own demands for returning to the role of Dredd

In August confirmed the rumors that actor Karl urban talks about the participation in the TV series “Judge Dredd: Mega-city One”. And all of us were glad, because very much wanted fans to see his unshaven face, menacingly peering from under the glass visor on a stylish red-yellow-black helmet.

According to Urbano, he has expressed his wishes to the creators of the show and now waiting for their response.

Well, the company Rebellion, which owns the rights to “Judge Dredd”, is preparing a TV-show “Mega city One”, and we had many conversations about my participation, I am interested, and I told them, “Look, if you write the character, which will have the effect and purpose and it will contribute to the overall story, then I will be very interesting to repeat this role.” Of course, I would not want to go there and just bend the lips in the frame. There must be some material which would require further disclosure of this character. So the case for them.

So, Karl urban wants to see a good script. Well, we too! About the same the actor said, and in the summer, so it looks like the script is still not ready.

The action will unfold in the grim future of the XXII century, where cities are crowded with a variety of criminals and dregs of society. “Judge Dredd: Mega-city One” will be released on small screens in 2018 or 2019.
