National Olympic Committee of Ukraine summed up the last month of spring.
By the end of may the best athlete of the country was a 25-year-old karate from the city of Ekaterina Curve, brilliantly speaking at the European championship in Izmir (Turkey).
The curve became a two-time champion of the continent – Ukrainian struck gold in weight category to 50 kg, and then backed up his success in the team competition (together with Anita Seregina, Angelica Terlovoy and Anastasia Mystkowski).
Curve first received a monthly award from the NOC of Ukraine. The personal coach of the athlete Igor Bogdan is also the first time named the best coach of the month according to the Olympic Committee of the country.
Recall, the best athlete in the January version of the NOC of Ukraine has become a biathlete Yulia Jim, in February, the monthly award was given to her colleague Olena Pidhrushna, in March, said Elena Kostevich (bullet shooting), and in April became the best gymnast Oleg Vernaeve.
